On Thursday April 5, 2018, a group of Third Grade students from Clinton’s Joel School participated in the 27th Annual Connecticut  C.O.L.T (Council of Language Teachers) Rhyme Celebration.  This year's celebration, which consisted of performances of rhymes, songs, poems and tongue twisters in many languages, was hosted by Farmington Public Schools and took place at Farmington High School.  This year's theme was "A Rainbow of Rhymes", and included performances by 29 different schools from across the state, performing in 13 different languages.  The Joel students did a group performance of the song Este es el baile de los colores (This is the Color Dance), as well as two individual performances, one in German and one in Spanish, by heritage language speakers in languages they speak at home.  A great time was had by all!
