IT Messages

A message from the IT Director:

Every day personal information and networks are being compromised as a result of fraudulent emails requesting simple information that allow hackers entry into a network.

Please be aware that no representative of Clinton Public Schools will ever request password information of any kind to be transmitted through an Internet site or email transmission.  Any requests for password recovery or changes should only be made directly with Allison Friday (afriday@clintonpublic.net), the Director of Technology, or a member of your school's clerical staff.  The district does not currently employ any automated password recovery system.

If you suspect a communication might be fraudulent, contact the sender for verification.  Please note that opening/reading an email message will not release or deploy any threats, however clicking links contained in a suspect email can be detrimental not just to the school or your home's network, but can compromise your personal information.
