Destruction of Records

Clinton Public Schools will destroy all confidential special education and 504 records of students who graduated or attended our district in 2011.  This policy is in accordance with Connecticut General Statutes, which maintain that special education and 504 records be retained for six years following graduation or leaving the district.  Such information may be needed for Social Security benefits determination or other purposes.

To obtain your confidential records, please submit a signed request in writing, indicating your name (while you were attending), date of birth, phone number and address, no later than October 15, 2017, to:
