Covid-19 Dashboard

2022-2023 School Year Processes and Notifications

The Clinton Public Schools will follow the CDC and CT DPH guidance for schools.  This information is outlined in the document, Launching into Healthy Learning: Operational Strategies and Respiratory Disease Prevention Strategies for School, Child Care, and Camps.

Positive COVID cases will be monitored and a table showing all positive cases by school location will be published weekly on this page.  Additional notifications from the school regarding positive cases will only occur if advised by our local health district due to an unusual pattern of cases within our schools or other circumstances that would require information to be shared.

School Nurse Supervisor Donna Frechette ([email protected]) is the point of contact for questions related to COVID-19 protocols.  Each school's health office staff will communicate and coordinate with parents to support the health of students.  CPS will operate under the Test-Mask-Go strategy as outlined in the guidance.  Test kits for use at home will be available for families upon request and will be utilized to support the safe return of students and staff to classrooms if they are experiencing any respiratory symptoms.
