Chromebooks have become an invaluable tool for students at Clinton Public Schools. The focus of our Chromebook initiatives is to encourage students to engage in problem-based learning and help them to realize that teaching and learning and can occur anytime, any place. Use of the Chromebooks facilitates:
- Enhanced student engagement and technology literacy through the use of technology both at school and beyond the school day.
- Enriched individualized and collaborative learning experiences that develop creative, innovative, responsible, informed, and discerning global citizens.
- Equitable opportunities for students and staff to access and utilize current technology tools and digital resources for research, communication, collaboration, and expression of ideas and information.
- Use of consistent applications to better communicate with and enhance the connections among staff and students.
Clinton Public Schools provides Chromebooks to all students grades K through 12. Students in grades 5 through 12 are allowed to take their Chromebook home. All Joel students will store and charge their Chromebooks in a secure cart within their home room.
