Great Start to the New School Year
Our students and staff have settled into routines for academic learning. School activities, athletics, and after school clubs and events are seeing increased participation as our students and families find connections and a sense of belonging in our schools!
New CPS Strategic Plan Adopted

Curriculum Corner
There are many new and innovative programs and opportunities for students in our schools this year. Our goal is to enhance and refine our curriculum to allow students to strengthen their skills and explore new areas of interest.
* Fundations Phonics Program in Kindergarten - Grade 3
* New Morgan African American / Latino Studies Course
* Expanded opportunitites to earn college credits at Morgan
* Social and Emotional Learning curricula at all CPS Schools
* Enhanced Engineering and Manufacturing Pathways
* CPS-First Aid Training for Morgan Students
* New Joel Bilingual Spanish program
* New Advisory Program at Eliot Middle School
Food Service Updates
Free breakfast and lunches have been provided to all students based on federal and state grant funding. This program will be ending in November and meals will be charged at the following rates, unless a student qualifies for Free or Reduced:
Joel: Breakfast $2.00 & Lunch $3.25
Eliot & Morgan: Breakfast $2.25 & Lunch $3.50
